Problems including poor bonds, delimitation of seams or fabric can still affect these glued fabrics. Today, many inflatables are manufactured from polyurethane fabrics, although larger inflatables use hypalon because thicker hypalon fabrics are still considered to be stronger and more durable than polyurethane.
